Half Life. Incredible game but let down badly by the final sections in Xen let it down.

Top 10 Games of 2009

Peggle. One of the easiest games to enjoy

 

Apollo Justice Ace Attorney

 

Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise. Excellent sequel, would have loved another game in the series

 

Half Life 2. Such a landmark game, it really raised the bar for first person action adventure games.

 

Mass Effect. The start of an epic series of games that are among my favourites of all time

 

Little Kings Story This game is a joy to play, except for the bosses which are frustrating. Then there is the pinball boss towards the end, which is accompanied by a techno version of the CanCan, an absolute highlight of the game

 

Braid. The music is excellent, the gameplay is good and the final twist is very clever.

 

Fallout 3. Still one of the best Fallout Game.

 

Bioshock. I found this so scary the first time I played it

 

Portal. My joint favourite game
